Puppy School

Puppy School  is run in conjunction with Newstead Veterinary Services and is held at their premises.

Classes are aimed at puppies between the ages of 8 – 16 weeks.  Being a puppy is one of the most important stages in a dogs’ life.  It is the vital age to start training and socializing the puppy because everything the puppy sees and experiences will have a great effect on how he behaves as an adult.

Puppy school consists of 5 one hour lessons over 5 weeks where you and your pup will learn many things in a fun, friendly environment.   Owners will be introduced to the method of canine communication and puppies will be taught some basic commands and socialization skills.

The whole family is encouraged to participate, so that all members of the family, even young children learn how to interact with the family dog.
